Manhattan University Alumni: Information

Manhattan University Alumni

Library Building Access for Manhattan University Alumni

Alumni who want library privileges must register with the Library before visiting. To register, complete this form several days before your first visit. We will check your alumni status, then send you an e-mail message that confirms your library access privileges.

The first time you visit, stop by the Circulation Desk to show your photo ID and pick up your library card. On each subsequent visit, you’ll need to show that card instead of your photo ID.

You are welcome to use the Library’s computers or to use your own laptop. To use the Library’s computers, please ask at the Circulation Desk for the guest password. Printing, scanning, and copying are free, but please print double-sided, if possible.

As a visitor, you’ll have access to all our online resources—databases, journals, etc.—only when you’re physically on campus. If you’d like borrowing privileges—permission to check out the Library's print books and DVDs for use outside the Library—please contact Valerie Jimenez by e-mail.  Alumni do not have access to Interlibrary Loan services.

During the last week of classes and the week of final exams, the library building is open only to current Manhattan University students, faculty, staff, and administrators.

Visiting alumni must use the main entrance to campus (rather than the entrance near the parking garage) after 9 pm on weekdays, after 8 pm on Saturdays, and all day Sunday.  If you need to park on campus—in the parking garage near 4570 Manhattan University Parkway—please contact Valerie Jimenez with the date of your visit, your approximate arrival and departure times, and a very brief description of your vehicle.

Please note that alumni are not allowed to bring guests to the Library other than their spouses, parents, and children.

If you have any questions, please contact Valerie Jimenez.
