Library Building Access for Charter Members of the WALDO Library Consortium
The library building is open to students, staff, and administrators from the charter member institutions of the WALDO library consortium.
Visitors from WALDO charter member institutions (both full and associate members) do not need to register before visiting the Library. However, you will need to bring a photo ID issued by your college or university. You must also sign in at the Circulation Desk.
Masks are recommended for high-risk individuals and for those who have tested positive for COVID-19. If you would like a mask, please ask for one at the Circulation Desk.
You are welcome to use the Library’s computers or to use your own laptop. To use the Library’s computers, please ask at the Circulation Desk for the guest password. Printing, scanning, and copying are free, but please print double-sided, if possible.
As a visitor, you’ll have access to all our online resources—databases, journals, etc.—only when you’re physically on campus. Students, staff, and administrators from WALDO institutions are not eligible to borrow books or DVDs for use outside the Library.
During the last week of classes and the week of final exams, the library building is open only to current Manhattan College students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
Visitors must use the main entrance to campus (rather than the entrance near the parking garage) after 9 pm on weekdays, after 8 pm on Saturdays, and all day Sunday. If you need to park on campus—in the parking garage near 4570 Manhattan College Parkway—please contact Valerie Jimenez with the date of your visit, your approximate arrival and departure times, and a very brief description of your vehicle.
Please note that WALDO affiliates are not allowed to bring guests to the Library.
