Searching Tips:

  • If you want to search by author, title, subject, etc., you can choose one of those options from the drop-down menu on the above left.
  • Entering two or more keywords will increase the specificity of your results.
  • If your search retrieves too few or no results, try using synonyms and different combinations of keywords.
  • To search for a phrase, use quotation marks

Search Other Libraries

NYPL New York Public Library

Searches the holdings of both the research libraries and neighborhood branch libraries of the NYPL. The Schwarzman building (at 42nd Street & 5th Ave.) has large research collections in the humanities and social sciences. The Science Industry & Business Library, SIBL, (at 34th St. & Madison Ave.) is also a research library. There are three branches of the NYPL in the Riverdale/Kingsbridge area of the Bronx.

 

OCLC WorldCat

WorldCat is a union catalog which itemizes the collections of 72,000 libraries in 170 countries which participate in the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) global cooperative. It is built and maintained collectively by the participating libraries. If you can't find it in WorldCat, it may not exist.
