NYPD personnel do not need to register before visiting the Library. You will need to bring your NYPD photo ID on your first visit to the Library and you must also sign in at the Circulation Desk, unless you have a Manhattan University library card.
You are welcome to use the Library’s computers or to use your own laptop. To use the Library’s computers, please ask at the Circulation Desk for the guest password. Printing, scanning, and copying are free, but please print double-sided, if possible.
As a visitor, you’ll have access to all our online resources—databases, journals, etc.—only when you’re physically on campus.
During the last week of classes and the week of final exams, the library building is open only to current Manhattan University students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
Visitors must use the main entrance to campus (rather than the entrance near the parking garage) after 9 pm on weekdays, after 8 pm on Saturdays, and all day Sunday. If you need to park on campus, please contact Public Safety at least 24 hours in advance of your visit.
Please note that NYPD personnel are not allowed to bring guests to the Library.
If you have any questions, please contact Valerie Jimenez.
