Catholic Studies

This guide offers help in finding books, articles, and other sources on Catholicism. The guide is introductory and broad in scope. Although the subject matter of the guide is Catholicism, not all of the authors represented here are necessarily Catholic.

Citing Sources

The sources of your paper will be cited in a certain style so that it is consistent for the reader. Your instructor will let you know which citation style they'd like used for your project.

At the bottom of this page there are links to citation generators that will take the information you tell them about your sources and generate the notes and bibliography in the style you want. You still need to check the bibliography and notes they generate against the style guide for the style your instructor wants to make sure it's correct.

You can also check out the citation research guide for more information on the various citation styles.
